NAUGHTY BOSS SYNOPSIS:
He definitely wasn’t supposed to get that email…
Subject: My Boss.
Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?
Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.
I honestly can’t wait to see the look on his face two months from now when I tell him that I’m quitting his company and that he can kiss my ass. KISS. MY. ASS.
All those former fantasies about him kissing me with his “mouth of perfection” or bending me over my desk and filling me with his cock are long over. OVER.
PS–Please tell me your day is going better than mine…
Subject: Re: My Boss.
No, you haven’t already told me that you hate your boss, today, but seeing as though you’ve sent me this email directly, I know now…
Yes, I did ask you to pick up my dry cleaning the second you arrived to work to day. (Where is it?) And I did tell you to take my Jaguar to the car wash and pick up my thousand-dollar watch. (Thank you for taking five hours to do something that could be accomplished in two.)
You don’t have to wait two months from now to see the look on my face when you tell me you’re quitting. I’m standing outside your office at this very moment. (Open the door.)
No comment on your “fantasies,” although I highly doubt they’re “long over.”
PS—Yes. My day is definitely going far better than yours…
Jonathan & Claire + Twisted Love Update
For those of you who don’t already know, whenever I write a book, I typically write the entire thing by hand in a notebook a few times before I begin typing it onto a Word document. I usually don’t begin placing it onto a Word document until I one-hundred-percent love it, and even then I sometimes set it aside for awhile if something’s not quite right/I need to figure out what that “something” is. It’s not until *then* that I start prepping the steps necessary to publishing the book and getting it into your hands 🙂
Nonetheless, I believe I have Twisted Love just about “right” for the most part. I’ve changed a few things I previously had prose-wise, but the story is still the same steamy contemporary romance, and one I hope you’ll love and enjoy.
That said, I’ll be changing the title of Twisted Love to something more fitting in the coming weeks so that it can be something that I believe better fits the “Falling for My Brother’s Best Friend” trope and does Hayley & Corey proud 🙂
On that same note…I’ve been going back and forth about this for awhile, and I would also like to know if *you* had any title suggestions for not only Hayley & Corey’s story, but something more fitting for Jonathan and Claire’s? Although the covers will remain the same, I believe a slight title change (*not* series title. Just singular book title(s)) would benefit this series greatly.
If you’ve been with me from the beginning you may have noticed that My Last Resolution is now titled The Layover, so it’s something I’ve done before + something that really helped and benefitted that particular book gaining more awesome readers.
So, if you have any ideas on two new titles you think would encompass + embody Jonathan and Claire’s story in Mid Life Love & Mid Life Love: At Last, please tell me below and I’ll take all title ideas into consideration 🙂
