Soooo for Cordially Not Invited, we’re starting things off with a quick prologue from our sexy-as-sin hero, ASHER BROOKS, who lets us know exactly how he operates when it comes to relationships and it’s pretty much: NO. NEVER. THANKS.

Fast forward to present day and we’re swept into the chaos of a luxury New York wedding, where everything is supposed to be perfect…

Enter our heroine—Katie.
She’s a high-end wedding planner who’s basically built her entire life around making sure other people get their happily ever afters. Every detail? Controlled. Every moment? Accounted for.

Until…She’s suddenly having the morning from HELL hours before the big moment, and she runs into the most arrogant guy who is in her way…

While she’s panicking about running late to the venue, this guy at the floral shop seems to be hell-bent on holding her up.
He even says, “I wouldn’t worry too much about that wedding anymore if I were you,” and after they argue, he has the AUDACITY to ask for her phone number.
Buttttt even though he looks like he walked straight out of the pages of a spicy romance novel…

Ha! No.
He costs her fifteen minutes of time for no reason, and she rejects him.
TWICE.
By the time she makes it back to the venue…the wedding is going straight to hell.
Like—the bride is crying, the groom is missing, and Katie is this close to losing her damn mind.

And right when she’s trying to figure out what the hell just happened…
She sees the sexy guy from the floral shop again.
Tall, calm, annoyingly attractive—and somehow way too relaxed for a man standing in the middle of a wedding disaster.
He offers her tea, says he tried to warn her, and then it hits her…

This man didn’t just witness the chaos.
He caused it.
Oh no—he makes a living destroying it.
(Yes. Literally.)
So naturally, Katie hates him deeply. Spiritually. On sight.
And suddenly that tea he offered is all over his suit…

Her little stunt doesn’t stop him from finding more unique ways to ruin weddings (on behalf of people who pay him to, of course) but it does mean that he has to run into her FAR more often than he’d like.
Even though she’s the only woman who can get under his skin with ease, and he thinks about her far more often than he cares to admit, he HATES her…

Fast forward to present day, [REDACTED] occurs which ENSURES that they’ll be running into each other far often than either one of them would like…And the tension between them is turned up from 100 to a MILLION…

From halfway hookups, to near hate-fucks, and banter that simmers, the wedding planner and the wedding ruiner are forced to work together on something they never could’ve seen coming.
And suddenly a lot of their previous run-ins are looking a little different under the light…

Yet…they remain in denial every single time they meet until [redacted] and then…** skipping past some very spoiler-y chaos + a LOT of top-tier banter** the insults go a little too far, the stares last a little too long, and the thoughts and anticipation ultimately break away…

Throw in a:
“Okay, maybe I misjudged you—”
Immediately followed by a:
“Never mind, I was right. You’re terrible.”

And somewhere between all the arguing, tension, and accidental almost-moments…
things start to shift.
Lines blur.
Rules break.
And yeah…

And suddenly this is NOT just about ruined weddings anymore.
Okay.
I’m stopping there because…spoilers 😌
But just know:
If you’re here for enemies-to-lovers, spicy banter, a hero who absolutely should not be this attractive, and a heroine who refuses to fold…you’re in the right place.
Cordially Not Invited is coming this week and I CAN’T WAIT for you to read it!
F.L.Y.
Whit
