Reasonable Doubt Bonus Scene: Andrew Hamilton on Father’s Day <3

by | Dec 5, 2020

Happy Saturday!

Today, I’m organizing some former newsletters, and I stumbled across this bonus scene that I sent out to subscribers when Reasonable Doubt first released.

It features Andrew Hamilton & Aubrey on Father’s Day, and it’s super cute. <3

**Spoiler alert: If you’re new to this series, please make sure that you’ve read/received the other mini bonus scenes with Andrew & Aubrey before reading this. (If you haven’t, sign up for The F.L.Y. List, and they’ll land in your inbox within seconds!) (If you read RD with the extended epilogue pre-2018, you’re good to go!)

**Unedited, please excuse any typos. I wrote this for fun <3**

Andrew

Subject: Late Flight.

Aubrey,

My connecting flight is now delayed by two and a half hours, so unfortunately, I’ll be home after midnight.

Is there any particular reason as to why you’ve answered my phone calls but have yet to answer my previous emails?

–Andrew

Subject: Re: Late Flight.

Okay. I’ll tell Autumn she can stop waiting by the front door and try to put her to bed.

What emails are you talking about? The ones about you wanting me bare-ass naked when you get home so you can fuck me against the floor in the studio room? (I don’t think I ever received those 🙂 )

–Aubrey

I rolled my eyes and typed a response.

Subject: Re: Re: Late Flight.

You left out the part where I wanted you to ride my mouth until my face is dripping with cum.

–Andrew

I knew she wasn’t going to respond, so I put my phone on vibrate and scrolled through my other emails, the numerous “Congratulations,” “Welcome Back, Mr. Hamilton,” and “Best. Defense. Lawyer. Ever.” from the team at GBH.

Even though I was still teaching brain-dead students at NYU, I’d been summoned to North Carolina to help with one of my former firm’s most significant cases. Every other weekend for the past five months, I’d flown to Durham for the weekend and ran lead on the defense’s comeback strategy.

They’d wanted me to stay for a full two weeks instead of pieced together weekends, but my heart would never allow me to agree.

I felt guilty now, even. Leaving Autumn and Aubrey alone for days at a time affected me in ways I couldn’t even begin to explain.

Leaning back in a chair, I scrolled through my phone and played the video Aubrey sent me hours earlier:

The screen appeared black at first, and then there was a mass of what could have only been Autumn’s mass of bright, blond curls.

“Daddy!” Autumn’s pretty face suddenly took up the whole screen. “Daddy, are you in New York, yet?”

“Autumn…” Aubrey’s voice was in the background. “Autumn, you’re supposed to say, Happy Father’s Day. Say it really loud and smile. This is supposed to be really quick.”

“Mommy got me a new ballet today, Daddy!” She held up a pale-colored tutu. “See!”

There was light laughter from Aubrey. “We only have twenty seconds for this video, Autumn. Say Happy Father’s Day. He’ll be home tonight and you can show him your tutu in person, okay?”

“Daddy’s home?” Her eyes lit up, and she rushed away, screaming something unintelligible.

Aubrey’s face appeared onscreen next, her deep eyes staring right at me. “Happy Father’s Day, Andrew. See you soon.” She winked at me and bit her lip before ending the clip.

I replayed it several more times, silently laughing at Autumn’s inability to stay focused on anything for more than five seconds at a time. Well, unless it was coffee-flavored pop-tarts. Or ballet.

Aubrey still wouldn’t admit it and claimed she didn’t want to “push” her, but it was clear from the time she turned three that Autumn’s heart was in ballet, too. She often snuck into the home studio room, calling for me to watch, to play music so she could “ballet some.” She even demanded that her hair look “just like Mommy’s” at all times, and she’d point to any of the pictures that featured Aubrey mid-performance in a high bun.

“Passengers of Flight 6756 heading to New York City, we are now boarding first class…” A voice from the intercom interrupted my thoughts.

I stood up and headed toward the gate agent, handing her my ticket before heading down the tunnel.

I took my seat in first class and noticed one of the flight attendants scowling at me.

“Is there a goddamn problem?” I adjusted the armrest.

“You.” She was smiling now. “I work this leg all the time and I make you your coffee.”

“You attempt to make my coffee,” I said. “It always takes you three times to get it right. Will we be going through that routine tonight as well?”

“You are absolutely unbelievable.” She shook her head. “Do you know that?”

“My wife does.”

Laughing, she tossed a napkin into my lap. “We have two full hours of flight time, so I’ll have plenty of time to make sure your ridiculous cup of coffee is perfect.”

I considered telling her that “drinkable” and “perfect” were two completely different things, but I held back. I looked down at my phone again and saw that Aubrey was now attempting to have a video chat.

“Yes?” I answered, quickly finding myself face to face with Autumn. Not Aubrey.

I immediately softened my tone. “Hello, Autumn.”

“Happy Father’s Day, Daddy!” She smiled at me, and I couldn’t help but smile back.

“Thank you, Autumn.”

“Can I stay up and wait for you?” Her blue eyes met mine. “Mommy wants me to go to sleep.”

In the background, I saw Aubrey mouthing, “Say no. Say. No.” She then narrowed her eyes at me, readjusting her white robe. “Or. Else.”

Autumn was still staring at me, waiting for an answer–looking more beautiful with every second that passed.

“Please? Please?” Autumn asked again, looking as if a “no” would be devastating.

“Yes,” I said, ignoring Aubrey. “Yes, you can stay up and wait for me.”

“Told you, Mommy!” She clapped and rushed out of the room, leaving me alone to stare at Aubrey.

Aubrey walked over and stared directly into the phone’s camera. “Father’s Day or not, I’m going to make sure you regret doing that. The very second you get home.”

“Is this your attempt at phone sex?”

“It’s my attempt to tell you that there’ll be no sex.”

“I highly doubt that, Mrs. Hamilton.”

“You think I’m joking with you? You think I’m going to continue letting you be her yes-man?”

“No,” I said, tracing the outline of her face with my fingertips. “But I think the second I get home, after we both put her to sleep, my tongue will be making it very hard for you to say no to much of anything…”

She signed out of our chat. Then she immediately sent me an email.

Subject: You.

In all seriousness, Autumn couldn’t have asked for a better father. You are, without a doubt, her hero, and my heart swells each time she’s near you and each time she calls out for you. I’m happy we get to celebrate another Father’s Day with you, and I look forward to many more.

I love you,

Aubrey

PS–I’m not wearing anything under my robe. Eagerly awaiting your tongue.

Subject: Re: You.

I love you more.

PS–I’m aware. Eagerly awaiting your pussy.

–Andrew

**The end. For now 🙂 **
