Sooo, if you’re new to me, you should know that I’m a Tennessee girl through and through. There’s nothing I love more than sipping sweet tea on hot days, walking through the woods, and rolling my windows all the way down to BLAST the best music during a super long drive to nowhere.

On Saturdays, “the best music” is always my country playlist. Although I make adjustments pretty often, the mainstays will always be Dolly Parton, Reba, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. (I also love Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, and Sam Hunt–even though my brother is convinced that Mr. Hunt is “not real country, Whit.”)

Lately, I’ve added Sasha Sloan (Where has she been all my life?), more of Miss Maren Morris, an entire Noah Cyrus album (She has some dreamy, low-country cuts with PJ Harding), Kelsea Ballerina, and a few songs from *their music is totally pop-infused* Florida Georgia Line. 🙂

Side-note: Can we petition to make Kelly Clarkson release a country album? Like, just one? She does the best covers, and if you haven’t heard her recent take on Garth Brook’s ‘The Dance,’ you should click here and prepare to cry. It’s effin beautiful!
