We’re kicking things off in the heart of Manhattan, where we meet Mr. Selfish—Dominic Sutton.

He’s the billionaire owner of a marketing firm and when we meet him, he’s listening to a business idea that makes him want to jump out the window.

Alas, since he can’t do that (and he has to sit through like ten more terrible meetings), he focuses on what he wants to eat for dinner.

His business partner suggests UberEats…

Which, of course, this sexy billionaire man has never heard of (because…why would he? he has a private chef, and restaurants cater to him, not the other way around.) Alas, his friend sets up his account and he gives it a try, scheduling his dinner for a certain delivery time frame.

Anddd that’s when we meet our heroine…

She’s stuck in traffic in her beat-up Honda Civic, with the fancy to-go-order riding in the passenger seat, and she’s wondering how the hell is this her life?

Whenever she’s not delivering random UberEats orders, she’s working as an unpaid intern (in hopes of getting a promotion) at Sutton International, and cursing herself every day for dropping out of college.

Alas, in the middle of waiting for traffic to hurry up, she gets some not-so-nice messages from the Uber Eats customer.

And even though she tries to professionally ignore him, he keeps going…

It’s almost like this guy can’t look out the window and see that it’s OBVIOUSLY raining like crazy.

When she gets closer, she realizes that she never should’ve taken this order. It’s at an office near her soul-sucking job and Wall Street guys are the worst tippers. (And this asshole is still texting her about being late O_o)

Alas, after some trouble getting inside, she takes the elevator upstairs and the jerk won’t even turn around in his chair when she arrives with the food.

When he finally *does* and she realizes WHO he is, strike a flame against a gasoline bar because OMG…

Her brain short-circuits at seeing the sexy CEO of her company in person–and the instant, wild fantasies running through her mind are relentless, but….

The fantasy is cut short when he tries to tip her 3% on a 300 dollar order.

Okay, no wait.

Not only does he tip her 3%, he tries to tell her how much she should be grateful for it…

She knows she should walk away and not say anything about how RUDE he is, but… she goes off on him in an EPIC way.

And then…

She snatches his food back & takes it home to enjoy for herself.

Mr. Selfish Suit is like–1) That Uber Eats driver was sexy as hell, but 2) Who the hell was she talking to?

And…3) Did she just mention that she works for me?

He does his due diligence and finds out that she does, in fact, work for him. And the games begin…

**Skipping through some super spoiler-y things + A TON of banter between him and others who work for him,** he and Miss Ivy have another encounter and it takes place in his office, and the tension is even fierier and more banter-filled than it was during the first one.

And after some [redacted for spoilers] [redacted for spoilers] he ends up doing her a HUGE favor as her boss (to also prove he isn’t as “selfish” as she thinks), but the favor is a nightmare for him because he can’t stop thinking about all the things he wants to do to her…

Throw in a bit of a slow burn as they adjust to being in each other’s day-to-day lives…

Then throw in a WHAT THE FUCK is she thinking moment, mixed with a “Okay, let me SHOW you who runs this” moment….

And we have some um…angry arguments that lead to…

And then it happens in the office… And at his place and…
